NORTHWOOD schoolboy Arran Kanth will be flying the flag for England at the Callaway Golfing World Championships in San Diego next week.
The 10-year-old St Martin’s School pupil managed to secure his spot to next Tuesday's championship by coming second at the British Junior golf tour Championships held at Rufford Park in Nottingham.
The young golf prodigy scored two over par which saw him qualify for one of two spots that will allow him to compete in the prestigious event next week.
Kanth said: “Before I started I knew I had a good chance, even though I was against the best junior golfers in Britain. Afterwards I felt really pleased to have qualified."
This will be Kanth's second time representing England at the event in the US.
