United look to topple Thurrock

Hayes and Yeading United will be looking to continue the run which has taken them into the top five of Blue Square Conference South when they face bottom side Thurrock at Church Road tomorrow (Saturday).

Five straight wins have seen United jump into fourth spot, the latest victory being a 1-0 win at Bath City on Tuesday night with Scott Fitzgerald hitting the only goal in the second half.

Thurrock will arrive at Church Road with only one point from their opening seven matches - that coming in a 3-3 draw with Hampton and Richmond Borough on Tuesday evening - but they have strengthened their squad with a number of recent signings.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
