United hit three at Worcester

Hayes and Yeading United recorded their first points of the season in the Blue Square Conference South with a fine 3-0 win at Worcester City on Saturday.

After defeats in their opening two games United finally found their form and were ahead within seven minutes through Will Hendry.

Josh Scott made it 2-0 from the penalty spot on 21 minutes after Ram Marwa was fouled and then striker Scott Fitzgerald wrapped it up with a third goal on 70 minutes.

United boss Garry Haylock gave debuts to new signing Matt Ruby, a defender fomerly with Woking, and Neil Martin, on loan from Exeter City.
