Northwood beat Barnet in friendly

Northwood beat Football League opposition for the first time ever when they overcame League Two side Barnet  3-1 at Chestnut Avenue in a pre-season friendly last night (Wednesday).

The Woods went ahead in the third minute through Abdul Yoki and Michael Gordon made it 2-0 three minutes later. Gordon then netted his second goal of the night to put Woods 3-0 ahead in the 23rd minute.

Barnet replied with a 34th minute penalty scored by Luke Medley in an entertaining first half. There was no further scoring in the second 45 minutes.
