Middlesex to face Durnham in Twenty20 Cup

Middlesex will play Durham in the semi-finals of the Twenty20 Cup at Hampshire's Rose Bowl on Saturday.

Durham won the delayed quarter-final tie by 44 runs against Glamorgan last night (Tuesday) to take their place in Saturday's Finals Day. It will give Middlesex the chance to gain revenge for their heavy Pro40 defeat against Durham at Uxbridge on Sunday.

On the opening day of the County Championship match at Lord's against Worcestershire Shaun Udal proved the unlikely Middlesex batting hero.

The spin bowler hit his highest score for 11 years finally falling just nine runs short of a century. With Tim Murtagh (44) he helped Middlesex to a first innings total of 300 after they recovered from another early order batting collapse.

At the close of play Worcestershire were 9 for 0 in reply.
