Ex-QPR striker Alessandro Pellicori was arrested this morning after police question his involvement in the latest match-fixing scandal to hit the Italian game.
Pellicori was signed in 2009 by former QPR manager Jim Magilton on a free transfer after the Italian forward impressed while on trial at Loftus Road.
The 30-year-old played his last game for the club in a 2-2 draw with West Brom in December 2009.
QPR terminated his contract by mutual consent in 2011 after the striker made only 10 appearances in all competitions and scored just once for the Hoops.
