YASSIN Moutaouakil has left Hayes and Yeading and is training with Blue Square Premier big boys Luton Town, the Gazette understands.
The French full-back arrived at Kingfield in late 2011 having spent some time out of football following his departure from Charlton Athletic.
Moutaouakil was offered a trial at Championship outfit Millwall in the summer but a move never materialised after the defender failed to turn out for the Lions.
The one-time £400,000 man has struggled for fitness since the start of the season with just 11 starts for the Blue Square South club this term.
Ex-Tottenham youngster Calum Butcher and Adam Bygrave have pushed the former French U21 international down the pecking order under boss Nas Bashir.
United are delighted with the impact Bygrave in particular has made since re-joining the club at the turn of the year and Moutaouakil was unlikely to get game-time.
Both parties are believed to have seen the benefits of moving on and the split was understood to have been amicable.
Moutaouakil will now be hoping to seal a deal with the Hatters at Kenilworth Road and help the club with their ambitions of a return to the Football League.
