NAS Bashir has followed up his threat to shake things up at Hayes & Yeading by ringing the changes this week.
The United boss has overseen the arrival of two new faces and shown the door to a popular figure as he looks to push the club up the table.
Daniel Braithwaite is understood to have signed from Chesham United to link up with his old Boreham Wood pal Sam Cox at Kingfield.
Braithwaite has been a regular for the Generals this season, making 15 appearances for Andy Leese’s under-performing Southern Premier League side.
Bashir has also brought in tall striker Brendan Cowell from St Albans City after the 22-year-old impressed for the reserves.
Cowell will provide cover up front following the surprise departure of Jerome Anderson (pictured) who left the club on Monday.
The versatile forward is United’s second top scorer this term behind Kudus Oyenuga but an announcement on the club’s official website confirmed his exit.
Gazette sources have revealed Anderson’s release is due to a hamstring injury rather than performances on the pitch.
United sit ninth in the Blue Square South and will be looking to close in on the play-off places with three points at home to Dover Athletic on Sunday.
