HAYES & Yeading have appointed Tony O'Driscoll as manager.
More than a dozen applications for the post were received following Nas Bashir's departure from the Blue Square South club at the start of February.
Former AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown and ex-West Ham defender Julian Dicks were among those to apply for the job but the club's board have decided the solution lies closer to home.
O'Driscoll has overseen five league matches since being handed the reins as caretaker boss and has chalked up two wins, two losses and a draw in that time.
He also guided the club into Tuesday night's Middlesex Senior Cup semi-final after being Tony Choules' Uxbridge 5-2 at Honeycroft in his first game at the helm.
Those results have done enough to convince Hayes & Yeading hierarchy that the director of football is the man to correct the slide following Bashir's departure.
O'Driscoll will continue to be assisted by Tristan Lewis and coach Delroy Preddie.
