HAYES & Yeading have parted company with manager Nas Bashir.
Bashir replaced Garry Haylock, at the helm in the summer of 2011 but suffered relegation from the Blue Square Premier last season.
United have made a poor start to life under Bashir in the Blue Square South and currently sit eight points off the final play-off spot.
The final straw came on Saturday as Hayes & Yeading lost 6-2 at Chelmsford despite the Clarets playing more than 80 minutes with an outfield player in goal.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Following discussions earlier today, we can reveal that manager Nas Bashir has left the club by mutual consent.
“Director of Football Tony O'Driscoll will take temporary charge of first team affairs for this week's Middlesex Senior Cup match v Uxbridge and the Blue Square Bet South match v Truro City.
“Everybody at the club would like to thank Nas for all his efforts on behalf of Hayes & Yeading United and wish him all the best in his future career.”
Assistant manager Tristan Lewis will remain at the club despite Bashir's departure.
