HAYES & YEADING have missed out on the signing of goalkeeper Jack Turner.
The former AFC Wimbledon youngster was released by the Dons at the end of the season and was one of three keepers on United boss Nas Bashir’s radar.
Turner announced his decision to join fellow Blue Square South side Staines Town this afternoon where he will join up with ex-Wimbledon reserve team boss Marcus Gayle.
Bashir is now likely to turn his attention to Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz and former Reading youngster Simon Locke as he searches for a new number one.
United were dealt another blow last week as last season’s top scorer Tom Collins made the move to Stockport County.
