HAYES and Yeading boss Nas Bashir says he is not resigned to losing midfielder Jamie Hand.
Hand has returned from a successful three-month loan spell at Luton Town and played his first game for the club since early September in last night's 3-1 defeat to Fleetwood Town.
Luton boss Gary Brabin earlier this season stated his intention to keep Hand at Kenilworth Road, but the ex-Watford man signed a season-long deal for Hayes and Yeading in the summer and the Hatters would need to pay a fee for him.
And Bashir says he would like to keep Hand for his club's relegation battle if Luton choose not to sign him.
"We are not sure what is happening at the moment," admitted Bashir. "Luton have got first refusal on him, but whether they sign him or not, that decision has not been made yet.
"We have got to see what they do and then on the back of what they do, we will make our decision from there."
