HAYES & Yeading's star player Bradley Pritchard says it is not a foregone conclusion he will be quitting the club this summer.
Pritchard's 15 goals and eye-catching performances have attracted attention from elsewhere, with Football League scouts even watching him this season.
The 25-year-old Bromley-based midfielder's move to Hayes and Yeading last summer from Tamworth was partly for family reasons.
He may stay for another year with the club that gave him a chance to play full-time football and voted him their player of the season recently.
Pritchard said: "I was quite surprised to win the player of the season award as I suffered a dip in form around December time But being recognised by the fans is an honour and it's something that I will cherish for ever.
"Honestly, I would like to be here still next season if I am given the opportunity. Everyone's ambition is to play higher, but I am also happy here.
"The manager [Garry Haylock] has been really great to us after the bad spell we had and it is good for us to repay him with the faith he has shown in us.
"I have never hit as much of a purple patch as I have this season. Sometimes when you look too far ahead, you can come unstuck.
"It was fantastic to score one of the last goals at Church Road. It was good to show the fans that it does mean something to the players even though we have only been here a short time."
