Labour maintains rating in polls

Labour's ratings in the polls have not been damaged by the row over Gordon Brown branding a pensioner "bigoted", according to the first survey to be conducted predominantly after Wednesday's gaffe.

The YouGov daily tracker poll for The Sun showed Labour on 27% - the same as the previous day.

The last opinion poll to be released ahead of the third and final TV debate suggested that the General Election remains a three-horse race, with Conservatives in the lead.

The survey put Tories on 34% - unchanged since Wednesday - Liberal Democrats down three points on 28% and Labour unchanged on 27%. Support for other parties was up three points to 11%.

YouGov questioned 1,623 British adults for The Sun on April 28 and 29.
