HS2 Humbug: Pile on the pressure through conference season!

I really do believe that we are now winning the battle - but we must keep up the pressure and keep gaining more support.

With the Political Party Conferences currently dominating the headlines this week and world leaders warning us about a global financial catastrophe looming - why on earth is our government STILL promoting the idea of HS2? Now, more than ever, they should be honest enough to admit that it is a thoroughly bad idea - even if we COULD afford it.

There is massive opposition to HS2 and not only from those who live along the route and who will be adversely affected by its construction. Opposition to this project is growing by leaps and bounds. Members of Parliament, influential and well informed groups and organisations and the media right across the board are against HS2 completely or in its currently proposed format.
