HS2 Humbug: Campaign cannot be de-railed so easily

SO - YOU THINK YOU HAVE SIGNED A PETITION OPPOSING HS2? Well, like tens of thousands of other opponents to HS2, you probably HAVE

BUT

THE GOVERNMENT HAS MOVED THE GOAL POSTS!

On August 4th the Government launched its own epetition web site and declared that any other petitions became invalid! STOP HS2 supporters had already collected tens of thousands of petitions on line and on paper, coming very close to the vital 100,000 needed to force a debate by parliament on the High Speed train.

O.K - it’s frustrating BUT (another crucial "BUT") campaigners have not come this far to have the rug pulled from under their feet! On the contrary, it has merely fuel our indignation and strengthened our resolve to bury HS2 - despite the Governments best efforts to de-rail (!) the campaign and its petitions.

You can register YOUR opposition to HS2 on, yes you’ve guessed it . . . .

The Government’s, one and only, own official petitions web site: Don’t let the Government re-rail this campaign by moving the goalposts!

They can call the tune - but we will dance for as long as it takes to STOP HS2
