THE RSPCA Hillingdon, Slough, Windsor, Kingston and District branch is in need of your help once more.
There are many animals at the rehoming centre and many that are still ‘walking though’ our door.
The RSPCA is asking for donations of blankets, towels, sheets or pillows as we are quickly running out of bedding for the animals in our care.
If you would like to donate, please call us on 01895 833 417 or 01895 231 435, or donations can be made to our clinic at 16 Crescent Parade, Uxbridge Road, Hillingdon UB10 0LG or any of our shops.
n GOOD news for GPs! The two guinea pig pals, Squidgy and Sour, got the year off to a flyer by flying off to a new home together. They are settling in well with their new loving family.
Unfortunately Ola the Bengal cross breed cat also featured last week still hasn’t found the right home.
She is so pretty – take another look at Ola at www.uxbridgegazette.co.uk.
n THIS week we introduce Gerry, a really cute, timid little boy who came in to us after he was rescued, having been played with like a football by some children.
He found it hard to trust us at first, but with all the TLC we have given him he now is a little bit more confident.
Gerry is an 18-month-old male apricot poodle/terrier cross who has now turned into a bundle of joy, and is just waiting for the right, loving home to come along.
He needs an adult, mature home with people who are experienced with small dog breeds, and he would prefer to be an only dog and not live with cats.
Gerry is quite dominant on the lead and will need some training. Do you have the time and love to dedicate to Gerry?
n JODIE is a typical fun-loving ‘tortie’. At six months old, she loves a fuss and craves human attention all the time.
She needs an experienced cat owner and cannot live with other cats or children under 10. Jodie is such a lovely tortoiseshell, we can’t understand why she has been overlooked so far. Can you give her a home?
