SIX people were taken to hospital after a double decker bus carrying passengers on crashed in Harlington.
The 140 bus collided with a fence on High Street, Harlington, south of the Harlington Bridge M4 overpass, at around 5pm on Sunday last week.
The vehicle also hit a lamppost in a central traffic island. Its front bumper and door were severely damaged.
Three London Ambulance crews attended, and paramedics treated six people, believed to be the bus passengers, who were all taken to Hillingdon Hospital with minor injuries.
Police closed the junction with St Peters Way to traffic, and reopened it just after 9pm, after the bus was towed away.
Metroline, who operate the 140 route, said their safety standards team is investigating the incident, but could not confirm a cause at this stage.
