AN 85-year-old man was injured in a road accident in Uxbridge this afternoon (Monday).
The pensioner was involved in a collision with a car in George Street at around 12.30pm.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "Staff treated an 85-year-old man for injuries to his arm, ankle and hip, and he was taken as a priority to the major trauma centre at St Mary's Hospital."
Police cordoned off the road between the Sainsbury's roundabout on York Road and Montague Road, which was still in place at 4pm.
No arrests were made.
