The family of a sex assault victim are praising the police and justice system for their handling of the case.
Shimon Alcobi, director at SHD Hairdressing in The Broadway, was found guilty of sexual assault at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday last week.
The victim’s mother – who cannot be named for legal reasons – said: “We want to raise awareness to all victims of sexual assault that if something has happened, even a long time ago, it can be dealt with.”
Alcobi was charged with three counts of sexual assault on three women and convicted of one. He is on bail until Monday, February 25.
