Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to following a collision which has left a woman in hospital.
The woman, named as Louise Clark of Ickenham, is in critical condition in a central London hospital following a road smash on Sunday, December 30.
The man police are trying to trace is 27-year-old Steven Palmer of Hayes.
Mrs Clark, 38, had to be cut out of her black Audi TT by London Fire Bridge staff after a collision with a blue Honda Civic in Harvil Road, Uxbridge just after 6.30pm.
The occupants of the Honda Civic decamped from the car and fled the scene, though two men were later arrested and bailed.
Police are also appealing directly for a witness who is not involved in the collision but may have valuable information that would assist us to come forward.
The witness was driving a light or white coloured Fiat 500 and was travelling along Harvil Road towards Harefield at the time of the collision.
Officers from the Northolt Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating and ask any witnesses to call them on 020 8842 1817.
