POLICE have released an e-fit of a suspected burglar who was disturbed by homeowners during a late-night break-in.
The man stole a bag in the raid, which happened at about 10.30pm on September 21.
He had broken into a house in Judge Heath Lane, Hayes, and when the occupiers heard noise, they went to investigate, and came across the suspect on the stairs.
He escaped with the bag after a brief struggle, and ran out of the address and ran along Judge Heath Lane, towards the junction with Princes Park Lane.
Nearly two months on and no arrests have been made, and police are now appealing for information and witnesses.
The suspect is a white male, around 27 years-old, six feet tall, and of athletic build. He had a little stubble, and also some redness near to the right side of his mouth. He spoke with a London accent.
He was wearing a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms, and white trainers.
Detective Constable Devan Taylor said: This was a horrible incident for the occupiers to experience and I appeal the public to identify this person. People in the area may know this suspect."
