FOR Halloween, which this year has fallen during school half term holiday the Com Café in West Drayton staged creepy goings on for the community of the Glebe Estate.
Apollo Group sent its ‘zombified’ staff with 30 pumpkins ready to carve for local families, and they brought along a local witch to do face painting.
More than 40 people from the community took part and came up with some frighteningly good designs to take home.
Then several familes took part in a trick or treat walk to the children’s centre and local library with each venue providing treats, and there were spooky stories at the library.
And nearly 70 people attended the cafe’s Halloween party, which included games, food – and mummifying lots of unsuspecting grownups with toilet roll.
