THERE are plenty of firework displays in and close to the borough in the next week or so. Here is a list of those we know about so far.
CHALFONT ST PETER (ICKENHAM SCOUTS)
More than 1,000 local people are expected to attend a popular, annual charity fireworks spectacular in aid of local Scouts and other groups.
The display, set to rock and classical music, will light up the sky on Sunday, November 4, organised by 1st Ickenham Scout Group.
To buy tickets, text the word ‘fireworks’, followed by the number of tickets required and your name to 07977 886 681. Instructions will come by return text. Or you can call the same number.
Ticket prices have been pegged to last year’s level of £5 per person, or £20 for a family ticket admitting five.
Hot dogs, burgers, hot and cold drinks and other snacks will be available, and for safety reasons, admission is by advance ticket purchase only and no tickets are sold on the gate.
The display is at the Chalfont Heights Scout Camp, Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter SL9 0QJ.
Drivers are warned not to use the narrow Slade Oak Lane to access the site.
OWZAT for a fireworks display at Harefield Cricket Club, Breakspear Road North, on Sunday?
Tickets cost £8 for non-members, £7 for members and £2 for under-10s.

The skies above Hayes will be lit up by a fireworks display on Saturday.
There will be children’s rides, glow sticks, hot food, drinks and an evening disco to complement the explosive display on the night.
No need to book tickets, simply turn up to Hayes Cricket Club, Wood End, Hayes UB3 2RJ from 6pm.
Entry costs £6 for adults, £4 children or a family ticket is £15.

Ryefield Primary school, in Ryefield Avenue, Hillingdon, is hosting its own jubilee-themed family firework display on Friday next week, November 9.
Doors open at 5.30pm, and the fireworks are due to start at 6.30pm. The event will finish at 7pm.
Adults get in for £5 each, and children for £4. Children under three go in for free, or a family ticket costs £15.
Tickets can only be bought in advance on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, from 3.30-5pm from the school.
Pinner Hill Golf Club is holding a fireworks display and non-members are welcome.
The display is at the club in Southview Road, Pinner, starting at 7pm on Saturday.
Entry is £7 for adults, £5 for under 16s, and free for under 5s, and family tickets (two adults, two children) costs £20.
The ticket price includes a complimentary burger or hot dog.
Ruislip Rugby Club is holding its annual firework display on Monday, November 5, at the club in West End Road, Ruislip.
Gates open at 6.30pm and the display starts at 7.30pm. It costs £5 per person or £15 for a family ticket of two adults and two children. Call 01895 633 102.
