HILLINGDON Council has named its new chief executive.
Fran Beasley (pictured) will move up from her current role as deputy chief executive and corporate director of central services to a new position of chief executive and corporate director of administration.
The council’s appointments committee, chaired by the leader of the council Councillor Ray Puddifoot, have recommended her appointment and it will go before the Full Council on November 8 for approval.
She replaces Hugh Dunnachie who is retires at the end of November.
Councillor Puddifoot said: “I am delighted that Fran has been appointed to this role and I know she will be an asset to the organisation.”
Mrs Beasley joined Hillingdon in 2008 from Westminster City Council where she was director of policy and performance.
She said of her selection: “I’m very pleased to be given the opportunity to take on this role in a high performing council, which is rightly proud of its record for innovation, efficiency and putting residents at the heart of everything it does.”
