A CANNABIS factory was closed down during last week’s Operation Hawk.
The day of action on Thursday, September 20, targeted alleged drug dealers, growers and users.
Officers set out from Hayes police station, in Uxbridge Road, at about 10.30am and by the end of a busy day had executed 12 search warrants, at least one of which required a forced entry to a house.
There were also stop and searches, vehicles stopped and leaflets distributed to residents.
Five people were arrested and four of those have since been charged.
The main results from Operation Hawk in Hillingdon were:
■ 12 drugs search warrants executed
■ Three vehicles seized
■ Five people arrested, four charged
■ One cannabis factory closed with 100 plants seized
■ More cannabis plants found at another address
■ 34 stops and searches of individuals
■ Several warnings issued for possession of cannabis
