A woman was hit by masonry which fell from an Uxbridge town centre building this afternoon (Wednesday), narrowly missing the two small children she was pushing in a buggy.
The incident happened just after 1pm when some blue tiles fell from a pillar between WH Smith's and Oxfam in High Street, catching 25-year-old Danielle Bracey on the back of her head and arm.
She told the Gazette it was 'very sudden' and thankfully missed her two nieces in the push chair.
Passers by flocked to help and police and ambulance crews both attended the scene.
Miss Bracey suffered cuts to her right arm but was able to head home just before 2pm.
Police have cordoned off the area.
