YOUNGSTERS made friends with Forrest the puppy during a story-telling session with a difference.
Forrest was a special guest at Tea and Tails, a popular summer project being run by the Harvil Road centre.
Every Friday in August youngsters gathered to hear a story and make a four-legged friend, while their parents enjoyed a range of treats from the centre’s cafe.
The children were taught how to stroke and play with the furry visitors while a canine-themed book was read aloud by education officer Charlotte Peters.
Loveable character Digger the Dog also joined in the fun and kept youngsters entertained with some dancing.
