STONEHENGE, the prehistoric monument usually off-limits to the public, has become a bouncy playground.
Families jumped in and out of the ‘stones’ as an inflatable life-size model of the World Heritage Site went up in Barra Hall Park, Hayes, on Sunday morning. An estimated 1,400 people visited on the day.
The ‘art installation’, called Sacrilege, by Jeremy Deller, has been touring the country since June.
It was commissioned as part of the London 2012 Festival and the Mayor of London’s Surprises programme.
