Man arrested after cemetery damaged

POLICE say they have arrested a man following reports of damage in a cemetery.

This morning (Friday) police were called to Cherry Lane Cemetery, off Shepiston Lane, Hayes,  where a man had allegedly been seen running through the graves kicking and pushing over headstones.

A man was arrested and is in custody at West Drayton police station in Swan Road.
