A HILLINGDON man is celebrating after bagging seats for the most in-demand event at the London Olympics.
Tim Fuell, 36, is looking forward to watching the 100m final after succesfully getting the only tickets he applied for.
More than a million people are hoping to catch Jamaica's sprinting superstar Usain Bolt in action, with just 40,000 seats available.
Mr Fuell, who works for Hayes and Yeading FC, applied for four tickets for the final on the first day they were made available, in October last year.
Tickets for the event were priced between £50 and £725.
He is now looking forward to taking his wife and two children to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east London, on August 5 next year.
He said: "I was not really confident that I would get the tickets. There is probably more chance of being struck twice by lightning in the same day."
Mr Fuell added that he was not considering cashing in on the coveted seats.
People who applied for multiple events and were successful will find out which events they will be seeing on June 24.
