TWO men were taken to hospital after a reported stabbing in Harlington over the weekend.
Police officers on a routine early-morning patrol discovered the men walking down High Street at around 2.45am on Saturday (21) morning.
One of the men, aged 26, had been the victim of a serious assault, and was bleeding profusely from a cut to his neck. Police suspect that the attack happened near Providence Lane.
Three ambulance crews arrived at the scene, and both men were taken to a London hospital for further treatment.
The injured man's condition was described as stable at the time of going to press.
The other man, reported to be 23 years-old, has been released from hospital.
Four suspects have arrested in connection with the incident, and bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing with their investigation, and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
DC Stephanie Dexter said: "The motive of the attack is unclear at present.
"We are keen to speak to anyone who saw any disturbance in Providence Lane or Harlington High Street during the early hours."
