Deputy Hillingdon Mayor Councillor David Yarrow presents Margaret Mcintosh trophies for winning four categories at Ruislip Central Horticultural Society
COLOURFUL flower displays and oversized fruit and veg drew hundreds of visitors to Ruislip at the weekend.
Ruislip Central Horticultural Society held their annual summer show at the Great Barn, in Bury Street, Ruislip, on Saturday.
Viv Ash, chairman of the society, said: "Floral judge Gareth Crockford complimented the society on the eye catching displays at the flower show.
"Mrs Bishop, the Floral Art judge, said the entries are improving every year and the whole show was enjoyed by the many visitors.
"The best exhibit in the Floral Section was a Pelargonium , entered by Ken Moyle who won the prize donated by Ducks Hill Nursery."
All the prizes were presented by the Deputy Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor David Yarrow.
