REPORTS of more wild beast sightings around Hillingdon have been flooding into the Uxbridge Gazette.
After the story featured in the Uxbridge Leader – our sister paper - last week six more people have claimed to have seen the mysterious beast.
Victoria Cook believes she saw the creature in Ruislip.
She said: "My bin gets regularly raided by what I believed was a fox, but having seen the picture of the coyote in the Leader I believe now this is what I saw the other night.
"As I lay in bed sleeping I was woken by a noise outside. I got up and looked out of my window, and there he was going through my bin.
"I went downstairs and turned my front light on as I thought this would startle him, but it didn't work. I opened my front door and he just sat there staring back at me as if he was saying 'Yes, what do you want?', which I thought was quite funny.
"Next time he wakes me I will try my hardest to get a picture of our mystery bin raider."
Jean Soward claims to have seen the beast last Tuesday at Northwood Cemetery, in Chestnut Avenue, Northwood, at about 12.30pm and Harris, of Bideford Road, South Ruislip, thinks he saw it a few weeks ago.
Farahnaz Mullazahi, of Fairdale Gardens, Hayes, says she saw it last Wednesday and Jean Greene believes she saw the creature in New Years Green Lane in Harefield last Thursday.
Christina Dobrin, of Cheviot Close, Harlington, has been the last person to report seeing the animal so far.
She said: "When I got home from work at 12.20am on Friday I heard a noise. It didn't sound like a fox, it sounded more like a dog. I could see a shadow moving in the dark.
"I went inside and I could still hear it at 1am.
"When I saw the picture in the Leader I thought that might be it."
