Mourners attend funeral of murdered Hillingdon teen Simmone Hedges

MOURNERS have today bid a final farewell to murdered Hillingdon teen, Simmone Hedges.

Hundreds have paid tribute to the popular 19-year-old, known as Minnie, at the 1pm service in Ruislip Crematorium.

Family, friends and work colleagues were devastated following the GlaxoSmithKline employee's death five days after being mowed down in The Larches, Hillingdon, at 2am on November 21.

Police said Miss Hedges, of Brampton Road, Hillingdon, died from injuries 'consistent with a road traffic collision' after being discovered in the middle of the road by a passer-by.

One man arrested remains on police bail pending further enquiries.
