A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a car in Hillingdon last night (Thursday).
The crash happened in Long Lane, Hillingdon at 9.14pm near the junction of Hillingdon Circus.
A dark red Peugeot 406 estate was travelling north in Long Lane and was about 50 yards south of the junction with Freezeland Way when it was in collision with a man, believed to be in his thirties.
The pedestrian, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Several roads in the surrounding area were closed for over two hours following the accident, causing major traffic disruption.
The Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton Traffic Garage are dealing.
