The search goes on: model behaviour in Chimes

ASPIRING supermodels were invited to strike a pose at the first of three qualifying heats for Destination Catwalk - The Chimes Model Search 2008, held on Saturday.

Hundreds of contestants queued for a chance to strut their stuff in front of talent scouts and directors from top London modelling agency, FM Agency,which is offering an exclusive contract to two lucky winners.

After taking part in a model workshop, 10 semi finalists were selected to face the public vote,including Lauren Vaknine,24, of Edgware, Kurt Morlese,23, of Northolt, and Lauren Buckle,16, from Iver Heath.

Three will be put forward for the grand final in September.

The winners will also appear in The Chimes Autumn / Winter show, in October,and become the face of The Chimes Spring / Summer magazine 2009.

In addition, they will receive a £250 Chimes gift card, Boots and Toni & Guy gift packs, and a personal portfolio of photographs.

The remaining qualifying heats will be held in The Chimes on July 26 and August 30.
