A CHARITY that provides help and support for disabled people is holding a picnic on Friday as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
CMSS Skills Development Centre, in Wiltshire Lane, Northwood Hills, helps adults who live with cerebral palsy and people suffering from stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and other life-limiting illnesses to acquire new skills and to live more independent lives.
Service manager Naheed Judge said: “Our main gala celebration will take place on September 29, which is actually the date of our diamond anniversary.
“But on Friday, we are inviting lots of our former clients, carers and staff to join us for a big reunion picnic.
“We’re hoping that around 150 people will come back for the event.”
