A CHURCHGOER died of a suspected heart attack whilst leading a prayer for a footballer who suffered a cardiac arrest during a match.
Christina Goredema collapsed at the Majesty Christian Centre, at St Johns Hall in Royal Lane, Uxbridge, at around 1pm on Sunday.
It was reported that Mrs Goredema, 35 and from Zimbabwe, had been praying for the wellbeing and recovery of Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba, who suffered a cardiac arrest during their FA cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur the day before.
She was taken to Hillingdon Hospital in nearby Pield Heath Road but staff could not save the mother-of-two.
Mrs Goredema lived in Widmore Road, Uxbridge.
Muamba, 23, is still critically ill at the London Chest Hospital, but reportedly showing signs of improvement.
