BRING a picnic and enjoy a summer concert of jazz and show tunes with family and friends in the beautiful grounds of Ickenham Hall.
Jazz in the Garden will feature Hillingdon Music Service Jazz Band and Concert Bands, performing under the baton of long-time Compass Theatre associate Melvyn Care.
The concert has been organised by the Friends of Ickenham Hall, founded in 2009 to raise funds for the repair, conservation and, where possible, restoration of the Grade II listed Georgian mansion, which dates from 1740.
All profits will go towards the Friends' projects.

Chimes Global Kids
CHILDREN can embark on an Arabian adventure right here in Hillingdon as The Chimes Global Kids Corner travels to Turkey.
The popular monthly event, held in The Chimes shopping centre, aims to educate children about different cultures across the globe and broaden their horizons.
This month will celebrate all things Turkish with free craft workshops all weekend. Activities include decorating your own fez, designing a ceramic Turkish tile, creating badges and colouring in a map of Turkey. Free face painting is also on offer. Mascot Gordon the Globe will also be making special appearances on Saturday at noon, 2pm and 4pm. Also look out for a surprise character from Turkey, who will teach visitors all about their home country.
The Chimes Global Kids Corner has already ventured to Australia, India and China, with future destinations including Russia and Spain, as well as exploring home turf with a UK-themed weekend.
Be sure not to forget to pick up a Global Kids Corner Passport, which will be stamped for each visit. Stamps convert into free gifts and money-saving vouchers.

Hayes Cottage fair
A BARBECUE and bouncy castle are some of the highlights of a summer fair in aid of a care home.
The event, hosted by Hayes Cottage, in Grange Road, will include an array of stalls laden with toys, cards, costume jewellery, bric-a-brac, clothing and more.
There will also be entertainment, including music and Guess the Budgie, plus face painting and a grand raffle with prizes such as a fabulous hair cut and blow dry.
A wonderful day out for all the family. Proceeds will be used by the care home to pay for residents' day trips, including visits to the theatre and seaside.

Kast Off Kinks
JOURNEY back in time to the heady days of the 1960s and 70s as the Kast Off Kinks take to the stage in Ruislip.
The band features original members of the iconic Kinks, often cited as one of the most influential and important rock acts of all time, and famed for their first hit, You Really Got Me, in 1964.
They reformed in 1994 to keep the music playing on, with the line-up now including drummer Mick Avory, bassist/vocalist Jim Rodford, guitarist/ vocalist Dave Clarke and Ian Gibbons on keyboard.
