One day her prince will come...

THE fairytale Cinderella will be brought to life - with a twist - in the third of a series of children's theatre shows and creative workshops hosted by Northwood Community Arts Group.

Children can create their own character to take home in a fun and constructive rod puppet-making workshop, led by puppeteer Joy Haynes of Banyan Theatre Company.

This will be followed by a performance of Cinderella Ashputtel, so called by The Brothers Grimm because she had no bed to lie down on and was made to sleep by the hearth among the ashes. This reworking of the classic story portrays a plucky heroine who will delight both young and old with her wit and charm.

Only 16 places are available for the workshop, so booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
