Simply Charlotte 07
IT WAS 5:08am, Charlotte went right through from 6pm til 4.45 and is now changed and fed. I must be doing something right but it is very disheartening when she won't eat her meat and veggies.
All she wants to eat is banana. Before long she will turn into a banana.
On occasions she does BLF (Baby Led Feeding) but that is very minimal. Am I expecting too much too soon?
Charlotte looked to be happy to see the snow especially seeing it fall to the ground. Dad went outside to clear the drive and road outside. It is amazing to find out how people are willing to strike up a conversation when you have a six month old baby and when there are adverse weather conditions.
Charlotte has changed; almost overnight, she has gone from a 'baby baby' to a 'baby'. It is hard to explain but she has more expression and movement.
When she has finished her milk she looks straight into my eyes and gives me the biggest smile you ever did see. A real look of love and appreciation for feeding her.
She has even now taken to shake her head to tell me no. 'No daddy, no more meat and veggies'.
Off to the Ruislip Lido for a walk this morning to try and think up a menu that she will at least look at and not burst into tears and which doesn't contain banana.
Charlotte mood - happy and very vocal. Loves to baby chat and sing, especially when the radio is on.
Charlotte feed - the battle continues
Stress factor - Her general mood counters the stress felt at feed times.
